ABA Forums & Peer Groups
Forums
CEO Forums:
ABA’s forum groups provide an opportunity for bank CEOs to meet throughout the year to benefit from each other’s skills, experience and perspective. These groups meet three times per year in April, August and November. In each group, CEOs from non-competing banks across the state exchange ideas, dissect challenges, and discuss solutions that can improve the performance of your bank and help you grow both professionally and personally.
Benefits of CEO Forums
- Discuss current banking challenges with your peers
- Learn about profitable products and services from other bankers
- Form lasting relationships with non-competing CEOs
- Increase profits through higher performance
- Discover cost-cutting concepts
- Solve your most pressing problems
- Obtain access to highly respected experts in the field
Senior Lending/Credit Officer Forums:
Once again we are pleased to host a forum specifically designed for senior credit officers and senior lenders. This group will meet twice a year for a roundtable-type format led by Mike Allen. Participants will determine the agenda for the group and the meetings will be designed to encourage participation, information sharing, best practices and relationship building. The focus group would only require one day out of the office per session. Attendance would be expected, however, participants may send an alternate for their seat in the event of a conflict.
This group will meet on Thursday, April 3 and Thursday, Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The annual cost per seat is $795 and participants are welcome to send a substitute if they cannot come to a session. The cost includes lunch, breaks and materials. This event will be hosted at the Vestavia Country Club in Birmingham.
